At Pixelik Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2. The Data We Collect About You

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

  • Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
  • Contact Data: includes email address and telephone number.
  • Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
  • Usage Data: includes information about how you use our website, products and services.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
  • AI Training: We do NOT use your data to train our internal AI models or third-party foundation models without your explicit, written consent.

4. Data Security & Residency

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

Data Residency: Where EU data residency is required, we can deploy and process data within EU regions and align on a DPA where applicable. We follow privacy-by-design practices (data minimization, access control, retention rules). We do not use your data to train models without explicit written consent.

International Transfers: Personal data may be processed outside the EEA depending on our service providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or other contractual protections) to protect your data.

5. Cookies, Local Storage & Tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any form of cross-site tracking on pixelik.com or booking.pixelik.com. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you do not see a cookie banner.

  • Security verification: our booking pages use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie while verifying your browser. This is exempt from consent requirements.
  • Local storage: the Discovery Agent keeps your conversation in your own browser's local storage until you finish, so you can leave and resume. It stays on your device. Your email address is saved to our systems at the moment you share it.
  • Server records: when you submit a booking or generate a brief, we record your IP address and browser details for security and abuse prevention (see Technical Data above).
  • Traffic measurement: we use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-preserving service that records aggregate statistics only (page views, referrers, country, device type). It sets no cookies and stores no personal identifiers, so it requires no consent banner.

Because none of the above uses cookies for tracking or advertising, no consent banner is required under UK GDPR and PECR. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.
